The worries coaches bring — answered straight

Most coaches find us after a tool that charged them more every time they grew. Here's the honest version of what you're really asking before you move.

Will my price jump when I cross a client tier?

No. Pro has no per-client fee and no price tier tied to client count. Your price is the same at 5 clients or 50 — growing your roster doesn't grow your bill.

Do you take a cut of every client payment?

Not on Pay Pro — connect your own Stripe and we take no cut of your payments (standard processor fees still apply). Pay Go is an optional 2.50% quick-start bridge until you connect your own Stripe.

Is the client app a paid add-on here too?

No. The Coach App for clients is included in Pro. Your own name and icon on the App Store and Google Play (the White-Label App) is one clearly-priced, optional add-on — never a hidden line item.

Will I get surprise add-on invoices?

The White-Label App is the one named add-on. Programs, courses, live video, storefront, website builder and payments are all part of Pro — core tools are never surprise add-ons.

Do I still need Zoom and Kajabi on top?

No. Live video with recording and a real course builder are both included on Pro, so your clients join calls and take courses in the same place they train.

Will anything change on my account without warning?

No. If something needs to change that affects your account, we reach out first — nothing changes silently. That's a standing commitment, not a marketing line.

Am I locked in?

No. Monthly plans are month-to-month — cancel anytime. Annual pricing is optional and simply trades a longer commitment for a lower monthly rate.

New here — where do most coaches start?

Three moves: set up your first program, invite your first client (they land in your Coach App automatically), and connect your payments — Pay Pro with your own Stripe, or Pay Go to start selling today.

Getting started

Signing up, taking your first client, and what you actually need before you start. Short version: less than most people assume.

Read the full guide for coaches
Sign up free, build your first program, and invite your first client — they land in your Coach App automatically. No card required to start.
Yes. Starter is free with no card required — 1 coach seat, up to 3 active clients and the core workflow, enough to set up your profile, create a first offer, use a demo client and see how TrainerPanel works before upgrading.
Three to five. That's enough to prove your offer, learn your delivery rhythm and generate the first referrals — without drowning you while your systems are still forming.
Requirements vary by country and by what you coach — check the rules for your discipline and region before you sell. Beyond the legal question, a recognized certification does real trust work: it's often the first thing a stranger checks before paying someone online.
No. An offer, a way to book and a way to pay come first. A simple one-page site earns its keep once strangers start checking you out — on TrainerPanel the Website Builder is included as product-ready, so you can add it when it's time.
Your clients need one professional place to train, track and message you — that doesn't mean building an app from scratch. The Coach App is included in Pro; a fully white-labeled app under your own brand is available as an add-on.
TrainerPanel works for any 1:1 or small-group coaching business. Personal trainers are a core fit — client management, programs, sessions and payments in one place — and the same platform serves nutrition-adjacent and hybrid fitness coaches too.
Yes. Programs, sessions, payments and your client app work the same whether you coach in person, online, or both.
Studio adds the team layer — multiple coach seats, roles and shared client oversight — when you're ready to grow beyond a solo practice.

Pricing & plans

What's in each plan, what costs extra, and the question every switcher asks first — does the price climb as you grow?

See full pricing
No — never. Pro has no per-client fee and no price tier tied to client count. Your subscription does not go up because your client list grows.
On Pro, nothing happens to your TrainerPanel price. There's no per-client fee and no client-count tier, so going from 5 to 50 clients doesn't change your subscription.
Client management, programs, courses, sessions, live video with recording, your storefront, a website builder, the Coach App for clients and payments — all part of Pro. The White-Label Fitness App is the one named add-on. Full plan detail lives on the pricing page.
The White-Label Fitness App is the one named add-on. Beyond that, only honest pass-throughs and transparent options: SMS credits, unusually heavy storage or media, hands-on migration or setup help, custom enterprise work, and the Apple or Google developer fees you pay directly. Core tools are never surprise add-ons.
Only the White-Label Fitness App is a named paid add-on. Programs, Courses, Sessions, Video Meetings, Storefront, Website Builder, the Coach App and Payments are all part of Pro.
Yes. Monthly plans are month-to-month — cancel anytime. Annual pricing is optional and simply trades a longer commitment for a lower monthly rate.
There's no per-client fee and no price tier tied to client count — ever. Generous fair-use capacity covers the vast majority of solo and small-team coaches; if you're running an unusually large roster, the pricing FAQ has the specifics, and we'll set up a custom plan.
No — turn on what your business needs. Nothing here is forced, and nothing costs extra to turn on. Most coaches replace their old tools one at a time as they get comfortable.

Payments & getting paid

Pay Pro, Pay Go, refunds, minimums — and a straight answer on whether the platform takes a cut of what you earn.

Read Pay Pro vs Pay Go
Not on Pay Pro — connect your own Stripe account and TrainerPanel charges $0, no cut; Stripe's standard processing fees still apply. On Pay Go, TrainerPanel charges a 2.50% handling and settlement fee on top of standard processor fees, as an opt-in bridge until you connect your own Stripe.
Pay Pro connects your own Stripe account — TrainerPanel charges $0 and takes no cut. Pay Go runs through TrainerPanel's own managed Stripe route so you can sell before you have your own Stripe account; it carries a 2.50% handling and settlement fee plus standard processor fees, and is designed as a temporary on-ramp until you connect your own Stripe.
Not to start. Pay Go lets you sell before you've set one up. Connecting your own Stripe (Pay Pro) is free and is what removes any TrainerPanel cut from your payments.
On Pay Go, yes — everything you sell has a $9.99 minimum price, and that floor also covers Direct custom charges. On Pay Pro (your own connected Stripe) there's no platform minimum; you set your own prices.
The coach does. On Pay Go, you're responsible for refunds and disputes, including Stripe's $15 dispute fee. Pay Go balances settle at $250 or every 15 days, whichever comes first, so funds are never stranded.
Yes, once in-app selling is live on your branded app. In-app purchases run on the same 2.50% TrainerPanel rate as Pay Go, charged on the gross sale, plus the app store's own standard in-app-purchase commission on top — that's Apple's or Google's cut, set by them, and we don't take a piece of it. Web checkout via Pay Pro or Pay Go avoids the app store's cut entirely, so it's the lower-cost path today.
Yes — memberships and session packs both support recurring billing, sold through your storefront and charged automatically on the schedule you set.
Pay Pro — connect your own Stripe account and TrainerPanel charges $0, no cut. Only Stripe's own standard processing fees apply, the same as they would on any platform.

Clients & check-ins

Your roster, check-ins, progress and notes — in one client record instead of scattered across a spreadsheet, a chat app and your memory.

Read the client management guide
Four things: your client roster (who's active, their plan, their contact details), check-ins (recurring photos, measurements or questionnaires clients submit on a schedule), progress tracking (the history behind the check-ins), and notes/history. TrainerPanel keeps all four in one client record instead of scattered across a spreadsheet, a messaging app and your memory.
Yes — client roster data (name, email, plan, start date) maps cleanly to CSV import when you switch over. Historical check-in photos or notes stored in other tools generally need to be added client-by-client, since there's no universal export format across spreadsheets and chat apps.
Clients check in through your Coach App, which is included — not a separate download they have to find or a generic app with your logo bolted on as an afterthought.
For most coaches, yes — check-ins, progress photos and notes live in the same client record as the roster and program, so there's one less separate tool and login to maintain.
Yes — the Coach App for Clients is included with Pro, so your clients get a professional app experience without you paying an extra app fee.

Programs & courses

The program builder for individualized plans, and a real Course Builder for structured lessons — both included, so you don't need a separate course tool.

Read the Programs guide
Yes, with no per-client fee.
No. There's no per-client fee — assign the same template to 5 clients or 50 without your subscription changing.
Yes. Programs covers workout, nutrition and habit plans, not training alone.
Yes — clients follow their assigned program in the Coach App, and their progress rolls back to you automatically.
Programs is for individualized plans you prescribe to a client — the workout, nutrition and habit plans. Courses is for structured lessons you teach to many people at once.
Yes. Courses is included as product-ready — no separate course-platform subscription.
Yes. Publish it and price it through your Storefront, on its own or bundled with coaching.
No — Courses is built to replace that separate bill, included on Pro.
Yes, in the Coach App alongside their programs and sessions.

Selling & your storefront

What to sell where, how memberships fit, and how your Storefront gives every offer one checkout.

Read the what-to-sell-where guide
Build it in Programs — the plan clients follow — then sell it through your Storefront, the one checkout every offer runs through.
Memberships package recurring, ongoing access as an offer. They don't have a separate page or checkout — you package the offer as a Membership and sell it the same way you sell everything else: through your Storefront.
Yes. Storefront supports recurring memberships alongside one-time offers like programs, courses and sessions.
Both are legitimate — a one-off program suits a defined result (an 8-week plan), while a recurring membership suits ongoing coaching. Many coaches run both: a lower-friction one-off as the entry point, a membership as the retention offer.
On Pay Go, there's a $9.99 minimum price on everything you sell (it also covers Direct custom charges). On Pay Pro — your own connected Stripe — there's no platform floor. Either way, you set your own prices; TrainerPanel doesn't dictate what you charge.
No. Website Builder is your public coaching presence; Storefront is where the actual selling happens — and they connect, so visitors can buy without leaving your site.
That's fine — you don't have to use all five surfaces on day one. Build the one offer type you sell today and add Programs, Courses or Memberships later, whenever your business is ready.

Sessions & video

Booking live sessions, selling session packages, and the included Video Meetings — so clients join the call from the session they booked.

Read the Sessions guide
Yes.
Yes — price a single session or a package, and clients book and pay for either through your Storefront.
No. Sessions handles availability, booking and payment in one flow.
The live call itself runs through the Video Meetings feature, also included on Pro — clients join straight from the session they booked.
Yes. Live video sessions and session recording are included on Pro — no separate video tool needed. Generous monthly allowances cover a full coaching calendar for most practices; see the pricing FAQ for the specific allowances.
No — Video Meetings is built in, so clients join the call from the session they already booked.
Yes. Session recordings are included and saved automatically for later review.

Coach App & white-label

The client-facing Coach App is included in Pro. Want your own name and icon on the App Store and Google Play? That's the optional White-Label Fitness App.

Read the Coach App guide
Yes — it's part of Pro. No per-client fee, no separate app charge.
No. It's part of your plan — your clients just download and log in.
The Coach App carries TrainerPanel's app experience. For your own brand in the App Store and Play Store, add the White-Label App.
The included Coach App gives clients a professional branded experience inside the TrainerPanel product. A white-label app is your own listing under your own name on the app stores — your own app-store identity, not TrainerPanel's, available as an add-on.
No. White-Label is a premium add-on — $99/month monthly or $79/month billed annually — on top of Pro or Studio, which already include the client-facing Coach App.
Custom fitness app development from an agency is typically quoted at $30,000–$600,000 depending on scope, plus ongoing maintenance. TrainerPanel's White-Label Fitness App is a flat $99/month add-on to Pro or Studio (or $79/month billed annually) — no developers, no build project, no per-client fees.
Yes. Because it publishes under your own Apple and Google developer accounts, the app name, icon and app-store listing are yours — TrainerPanel does not appear as the publisher.
Yes. White-Label publishes under your own developer accounts, so the app-store identity is genuinely yours, not TrainerPanel's.
Setting up your branding, name, icon and app-store listing typically takes weeks, not the months a custom development project usually takes. Final go-live still depends on Apple and Google's own app-store review, which TrainerPanel doesn't control.

Website builder

Publish your coaching site and sell straight from it — without paying for a separate website tool.

Read the Website Builder guide
Yes, included as product-ready.
Custom domain support ships as product-ready — check current availability at signup.
No — Website Builder is built to replace that separate bill.
Yes. Connect it to your Storefront so visitors can buy your programs, courses and sessions without leaving your site.

Switching & how we compare

Moving from another tool, and honest, dated comparisons. For the per-platform numbers, our real-cost pages break each one down with a "last checked" date.

Read the switching guide
Yes. Start with the free setup flow and move your core coaching workflow over step by step. For larger migrations, hands-on setup and migration help is available — talk to us.
Yes — they'll move to your TrainerPanel Coach App. It's a one-time download and login, which is why a short heads-up message to your clients matters.
Most coaching tools don't offer a universal one-click program export. Plan on rebuilding your active programs in TrainerPanel's program builder — most coaches find this faster than expected, since they're recreating a known plan, not designing from scratch.
Recurring subscriptions billed through your old platform don't transfer automatically — you'll set up the equivalent membership or session package in TrainerPanel and have clients resubscribe. This is the part of the switch worth doing carefully, since it touches your revenue directly.
Most solo coaches complete the core switch — roster, active programs and the client Coach App invite — inside a week. Rebuilding a large historical program library takes longer if you choose to bring all of it over.
The base subscription plus any client-count upgrades, app fees, video add-ons, payment fees, course tools, website tools, extra seats and pass-through usage. The headline price is often not the all-in cost — our real-cost pages break this down per platform.
Most platforms are technically transparent — the costs are published, just spread across tiers and add-ons. The common mechanics to check are per-client tiers, client caps, branded-app fees, video limits, payment fees and the tools you still need outside the platform. Our dated deep dives break this down per platform.
Not always. At very small client counts, some competitors' free or entry-level tiers can be cheaper than TrainerPanel Pro before add-ons are counted — that's a real, honest exception, not a hidden catch. The predictable-flat advantage compounds as your roster, add-ons or payment volume grow. Run the calculator with your own numbers for the honest comparison.
